We only use your data to deliver your purchase, support you and keep the Store secure. Payment details stay with Tebex and never reach our servers. We never sell your data.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Vantix Studios collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit vantixstudios.net, buy our products or contact us for support. Payment processing is carried out by Tebex Limited, who act as an independent controller of your payment data under the Tebex Privacy Policy.

Data we collect

  • Order data from Tebex: your transaction ID, Cfx.re username and ID, the products bought, the price, currency, country and date of purchase, and your name and email address where Tebex shares them with us.
  • Cfx.re account data: when you sign in with FiveM, Cfx.re shares your username and account ID so your basket can be linked and your Resource delivered to Keymaster.
  • Discord data: if you link Discord at checkout, your Discord user ID is used to give you customer roles. If you open a support ticket, we see your Discord profile and the messages you send.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request, collected by our server and by Cloudflare for security and reliability.
  • Browser storage: your cart, your checkout session and whether you dismissed the announcement bar are stored in your own browser.

We never receive or store your card or bank details. These are entered directly with Tebex.

How we use your data

  • to deliver your Resources and confirm your purchase;
  • to give you customer roles on our Discord server;
  • to provide support and answer your questions;
  • to prevent fraud, chargeback abuse and the leaking of our products;
  • to keep the Store secure, working and fast;
  • to keep records required for accounting and legal purposes.

Legal basis

Where data protection laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply, we process your data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (delivering and supporting your purchase), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and protecting our products), to meet legal obligations, or with your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share data with

We only share data with the services we need to run the Store:

  • Tebex Limited, which processes payments and acts as our merchant of record;
  • Cfx.re, which links your account and delivers your Resources through Keymaster;
  • Discord, which hosts our community and support tickets and applies your roles;
  • Cloudflare, which protects the Store, delivers it quickly and provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics without cookies;
  • our hosting provider, which runs the servers this Store is hosted on.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep your cart and checkout session (vx_cart and vx_basket) and session storage to remember a dismissed announcement (vx_ann). Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security. Tebex sets its own cookies during checkout and in the purchase history window, under its own privacy policy.

You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings. Your cart will be emptied when you do.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

  • Order records are kept for as long as your licence is active and for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
  • Support tickets are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a record of it.
  • Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted.
  • Browser storage stays on your device until you clear it or complete checkout.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time.

To make a request, open a ticket on our Discord server. We may need to verify your identity, and we will reply within one month. For payment data, contact Tebex directly. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

Security

The Store is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, payment details never reach our servers, and access to order data is limited to the Vantix Studios team.

Children

The Store is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "last updated" date.
